TEST RESULTS

It is the policy of PCA to communicate all test results to their patients. You should hear from us whether your test is normal or abnormal. If you do not get some information from us within one week after a test has been completed, please call to discuss the results. We may call you, send you a letter, or leave you a voice mail on our secure voice mail system.

Our voice mail system is called Televox and allows the physicians to leave you a detailed voice mail for your review 24 hours per day. Results may be available several days after your test is done but may take up to one week to be posted for your review. Mammogram results are also sent to you directly from the hospital. Below are directions for accessing your voice mail results.

IN-OFFICE LAB HOURS

Genesis labs have a full time lab station on site in our office. No appointment is needed for lab draws but an order from the doctor is required. We will often request that you fast before your blood is drawn, so please be sure to ask your physician if there will be any special requirements before your test. The lab is open during the following hours:

Some insurance companies may require the patient to go to outside labs. Please consult with your insurance company.

INSTRUCTIONS TO RETREIVE YOUR TEST RESULTS VIA THE TELEVOX VOICE MAIL SYSTEM

• Call the Primary Care Associates voicemail 5-7 days after you have had your test. THE TOLL FREE NUMBER IS 1-866-504-8295.
• You will be asked for your unique ID number which is your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER FOLLOWED BY THE POUND KEY.
• You will then be asked for personal ID which is your birthday. Enter your birth date using 6 digits followed by the pound key. For example if your birthday is July 18, 1957 you would enter 071857.
• Press 1 to play the message or 0 to return to the previous menu.
• If there are no messages 7 days after your test was completed please call our office to receive your results.
